After millions of years in which life existed in water, one of the greatest revolutions in Earth's history began – the transition to land.
Plants, fungi, and insects were among the first creatures to adapt to life outside the water, and changed the face of the world.
In this exhibition we explore how settlement on land occurred and how new ecosystems were created.
